Terms of Service

Tovela helps you keep track of school, activity and other everyday communications. With your permission, it imports messages from accounts you connect, analyzes them, and creates Cues — reminders, deadlines, events and actions — and notifies you according to your preferences.

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accounts you choose to connect. Keep your sign-in credentials secure.

Do not use Tovela to break the law, to access communications you are not entitled to, or to interfere with the service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.

Cues are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Tovela is an assistant, not a substitute for reading important communications. You remain responsible for deadlines, permissions and obligations relating to you and your team.

Text alerts are coming soon. Tovela does not currently enroll anyone in text delivery and sends no text messages. These terms describe how text notifications would work if they launch.

• If text alerts launch and you provide your mobile number and check the consent box, you would consent to receive automated text messages from Tovela about reminders, deadlines, events, actions and other important notifications from your Tovela account.
• Message frequency would vary with your account activity and notification preferences.
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile phone service plan.
• If you previously provided a number, replying STOP is still honored and recorded. Replying START, UNSTOP or YES cannot reactivate texting while texting is coming soon.

• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
• You are responsible for providing a valid mobile number that you own or are authorized to use, and for telling us if that number changes or is reassigned.
• Tovela may change, suspend or discontinue text notifications, including which events trigger them, at any time.
• Delivery would depend on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Tovela is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Text alerts are planned for U.S. mobile numbers.

Tovela relies on third-party providers, including Google for the read-only mailbox connection you authorize and an AI model provider for analysis. Your use of those connected accounts is also governed by their own terms. No text-message or email-delivery provider is used while those features are coming soon.

During the private preview, every available feature is included at no cost while you test it. Text alerts and email summaries are coming soon: nothing is sent by text or email. If plans or pricing are introduced later, the terms will be disclosed before launch and before you are ever charged.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tovela is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for missed obligations arising from reliance on automated Cues or notifications.

You may stop using Tovela and request deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
